Abstrakt

Heat transfer of a liquid boiling and evaporating in the grooves of fine-film evaporators and on a porous surface is considered. An experimental information is obtained on the character of heat transfer along the groove of an evaporator with power supply under the boundary conditions of the third kind. A relation is suggested for calculation of the maximum heat flux from an evaporator provided with grooves of a triangular profile. Triangular - and rectangular - grooved evaporators are tested and their comparative analysis is made. Hydrodynamics of the gravitationally-opposed fluid flow in a porous structure is also studied and the results obtained are presented. Higher absorption rate due to liquid boiling and evaporation is noted.
