Abstrakt

A problem concerning photoabsorptional free convection moduced by a horizontal laser beam in noncompressible fluid is considered. The existance of three regimes of the photoabsorptional convection in different media is shown and conditions for the stationary clearence channel generation in fog are estimated. The convective flow patterns and the mode of their development are studied on the basis of numerical integration of the Navier-Stokes equations in the Boussinesque approximation combined with the equations for mass concentration of droplets and vapor density.
