Abstrakt

A model of nonequilibrium condensation in high speed flows under the restricted hypotheses of no-slip velocity and no-temperature jump is analyzed. This model is extended to account for velocity and temperature slips by expressing adequately the momentum and energy transfers associated with the mass transfer between phases. The sets of balance equations for each phase are derived in the continuum and in the free molecular regime approximations corresponding to extreme values of the particle Knudsen number. These sets of equations differ from each other by the position of slip terms associated with the mass transfer.
