Abstract

Kinetics of heating the surface of pure Al and Sn by means of thermal impulses of low -to- middle strength is studied. Anomalous temperature rise of the heated surfaces discussed in refs. /1-3/ is confirmed. The relationship between anomaly and purity of the studied metals and also perfection of their structure has been revealed. The thermal conductivity coefficient is assumed to decrease, in a thin surface layer due to energy redistribution of the heat-transfer agents. It is shown that termal conductivity can be decreased by 2-3 orders.
