Abstract

The report deals with, dispersed vapor-liquid flow post-dryout heat transfer. The influence of heat flux distribution in the pre- and post-dryout region and the flow direction on post-dryout heat transfer in a vertical round tube is experimentally investigated. The method of heat transfer prediction based on the description of processes of dispersed flow interaction with a heated surface is proposed. There is satisfactory agreement of the experimental and predicted results in the wide range of parameters.
