摘要

Two-phase void fractions and phase distributions in developing and fully developed two-phase flow were studied experimentally in an atmospheric air-water system and in a high pressure steamwater system using the gamma-attenuation technique.
The phase distributions in developing flow were different from those in fully developed flow. In developing flow, slip ratios were generally less than one and increased as the mixture quality increased and the velocity decreased. In developed flow, the void distributions became more skewed as velocity increased and quality decreased. The experimental results were also compared with the physical bases of Bankoff's, and Zuber's and Findlay's models.
