EFFECT OF TRANSIENT FLOW ON PREMATURE DRYOUT IN TUBE
摘要
The influence of abrupt flow change on the critical heat flux in the high quality steam-water two-phase flow is studied mainly by experiments. The measured reduction in the critical heat flux is compared with the result of a simplified analysis based on the kinematic wave theory and the film vanishing hypothesis. It is concluded that the reduction is due to "the Premature Dryout" caused by the deceleration of the liquid film.
