STUDIES OF CRYOGENIC LIQUID BOILING IN CENTRIFUGAL ACCELERATION FIELDS
摘要
Heat transfer and heat flux critical densities qmax are experimentally studied under nucleate boiling of helium and nitrogen in the field of centrifugal forces (in the acceleration range of (1−179)qn). The increase in heat transfer coefficients with growing gravity levels is found to result from a rise of the liquid pressure at the heater. The dependence of qmax on the relative acceleration η = q/qn can be represented as qmax ≈ ηk where k is 0.135 and 0.215 for helium and nitrogen, respectively.
