VAPOR VOID FRACTION IN STEAM-FLUID MIXTURES FLOWING IN HEATED AND UNHEATED CHANNELS
摘要
The values of vapor void fraction in steam-fluid mixtures flowing in heated and unheated tubes and in channels with bundle of rods have been analyzed. Three main regions of variations of γ are considered: equilibrium or quasi-equilibrium, pronounced non-equilibrium flows and transient region where the influence of heat flux upon γ gradually decreases. For each of these regions, the character of dependence of γ from initial parameters was revealed, the estimating equations are given and possible boundaries of their use are defined.
